• VOCAL ALCHEMY & MOVEMENT CHAKRA CLEARING

  Vocal Alchemist Consuelo Luz and Sacred Dancer/Fitness Trainer Tess Yong join together for a 2 ½ hour workshop on applying the voice and body movements to clear and align our chakras (energy centers), gently address what is limiting us and allow a healthy flow of energy.  Feel the joy of release with the tools nature has given us: our voices, our bodies.

  Consuelo shares how Sound calls us at this time to remember root soul songs, find our star tongue, manifest musical languages of ancient and future light and voice the radiant dialect of the heart.

  Consuelo and Tess are our guides in expressing stuck patterns with wordless vocalization and movement, thus freeing the voice and the body to sing and dance liberated frequencies, balance and activate the energy centers and stir up and release blockages so as to evolve our dreams and identities and awaken the true and healthy self.

CRYPTO-JEWISH JOURNEY THROUGH THE TREE OF LIFE

CONCERT / LECTURE

The history of the Crypto Jews told as a mystical journey

through the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.  

​

Sephardic Jews have much to teach us about survival and peace. In North Africa and the Middle East they coexisted peacefully for centuries with their Arab neighbors. In their golden age in Spain they influenced Spanish culture, adopted their language, Ladino, and developed, with Christians and Muslims, the mystical tradition of the Kabbalah.

 

Their exile and persecution after the Inquisition led to their Crypto-Jewish experience in places like northern New Mexico.  

 

Consuelo weaves music, political history and her family's stories into the inspiring tale of the Sephardic Crypto Jews.
